Orders & shipping
How long until my order ships?
Orders placed before 14:00 ship the same working day. Anything after that goes out the next working day. You will get a tracking number by email as soon as the label is created.
When is shipping free?
Orders over $60 ship free within the United States. Below that, the rate is calculated at checkout by weight and destination — we do not pad it.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. International orders are sent tracked and the rate is shown at checkout. Import duties and local taxes are the buyer’s responsibility; we declare the parcel at its real value, so please do not ask us to mark it as a gift.
Can I change or cancel an order?
Email us before the parcel is collected and we will change or cancel it. Once it is with the carrier, treat it as a return — see the shipping page.
A pouch arrived damaged or the wrong item.
Send a photo of the pouch and the packing slip within 30 days and we will replace it or refund it. You do not need to send the damaged goods back.
The herbs themselves
Where does the herb actually come from?
Grower and region are on every product page under Plant profile, along with the cultivar and the harvest month. Nothing is sourced through a broker who cannot name the farm.
Is it organic?
Where the grower holds a certification we can verify, we say so on the product page. Where they grow without synthetic inputs but are not certified, we say that instead. We do not use the word loosely.
How should I store it?
Airtight, out of light, away from the stove. Whole leaf keeps roughly six months past the harvest date; ground roots much longer. A glass jar on a sunny windowsill is the one place not to put it.
Do you sell live plants or cuttings?
No. We ship dried herb only — no soil, no live material, so no plant-health restrictions apply to your order.
Is there a safety note for pregnancy or medication?
Some herbs are not appropriate during pregnancy or alongside certain medications. We list what we know on each product page, but that is information, not medical advice — check with a qualified practitioner before using a herb medicinally.
Why does the same herb cost more in one listing than another?
Grade and cut. Whole first-flush blossoms, hand-sorted roots and a single cultivar cost more than a mixed, machine-cleaned lot. Each listing states the grade so you can compare like with like.
